As the weather cools down and the winter season arrives, it sometimes snows intermittently in the Salangs. Therefore, the Ministry of Public Works requests all citizens and motorists to carry chains (chains) for their vehicles, warm clothes, essential winter items and other necessary equipment while traveling on Salangun Highway.
Also, all motorists are requested to follow the traffic rules and principles in order to protect themselves and their passengers and to prevent traffic accidents and to pay serious attention to the instructions of the road officials.
