The Qatari newspaper Al-Arab confirmed that Algerian Ashraf Abada, a player from USM Al-Asimah, is close to joining the ranks of the Al-Shamal team in the upcoming winter transfers to strengthen the team’s defensive line.
The same sources confirmed that the player is considered the strongest option to manage the club in light of the capabilities enjoyed by the player who excelled in the recent Arab Cup held in Qatar. Therefore, if he joins officially, he will constitute a strong addition to the team at the local and Asian levels. The player is also the focus of attention of a number of Arab teams, perhaps the most prominent of which is Al-Ahly of Egypt. The interest in the player comes after Jason Morillo’s injury in the previous Al-Hilal match and his absence from the stadiums for 3 months.
