Central Asia (CA) President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev. The meeting took place in Ankara on the eve of the 13th OTG Summit.
According to the Secretary General, the parties exchanged views on the upcoming summit, Turkey’s upcoming chairmanship and a common vision for further strengthening unity, solidarity and cooperation throughout the Turkic world.
“As my term as Secretary General comes to an end, I expressed my sincere gratitude to President Erdogan for his continued support of our Organization and its secretariat over the past four years,” Kubanychbek Omuraliev wrote.
He expressed confidence that the summit in Ankara on the theme “Turkic Century: Unity in Language, Thought and Deed” will be an important milestone on the collective path towards a more united, interconnected and prosperous Turkic world.
