Prime Minister Edi Rama has asked the ministers to initiate dismissals at the head of the institutions and agencies that depend on their departments.
The order was conveyed to the members of the cabinet today, while Rama was in Budva.
The Prime Minister is expected to make this decision public in the coming days. The reasons and dimensions of the requested changes have not yet been clarified. It also remains unclear whether this move is related to the protests or any possible development towards early elections.
The request for dismissal comes after the criticism that Rama directed at the administration in recent public appearances.
About a week ago, he warned of measures for leaders who delay responses to citizens and do not deal with the problems raised by them within the deadlines.
