Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz will face the United States in an international friendly on December 13 at Inter Miami’s stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as the Americans prepare to close out their 2026 schedule.
The match, confirmed by US Soccer on Tuesday, will be the first meeting between the teams since the United States defeated Jamaica 4-2 in the 2024 Concacaf Nations League quarter-finals.
The Americans hold a 22-win, three-loss and 10-draw record against the Reggae Boyz.
US head coach Mauricio Pochettino says the fixture will provide an opportunity to assess Major League Soccer-based players and introduce new faces to the national team setup.
“Jamaica is the type of team we could see in upcoming tournaments including World Cup Qualifying, so it’s a great opportunity and experience for these players,” he said.
The friendly is part of the United States’ preparations for a busy 2027 schedule, which includes the Concacaf Nations League Finals, the Gold Cup and the start of qualifying for the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
The December encounter will follow the United States’ Concacaf Nations League quarter-final against Haiti, scheduled for November 14 and 17.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 3:30 pm.
