Andorra Telecom has presented the 0 GB Mobile Rate, a new option aimed at families who want to keep in touch with their children when they are away from home, without having access to mobile internet. The rate is six euros per month and includes 100 minutes of calls and 100 SMS.
The proposal is part of the company’s digital well-being strategy, which wants to accompany children and young people in their digital growth and facilitate responsible use of technology.
The rate is complemented by two other tools for protection and management of the digital environment. One is Protected Internet, a free service that blocks access to websites with inappropriate content and that can be activated both on the home connection and on mobiles connected to 4G and 5G networks.
The other tool is the parental control available through the Wifi Andorra Telecom application, for iOS and Android devices. Families who have the company’s router can set time limits per device and manage the contents of the home Wi-Fi network.
The Customer Director of Andorra Telecom, David Baró, has defended that digital well-being is an essential part of the company’s strategy and has pointed out that the aim is to offer tools so that children and young people can grow in a digital environment suitable for each stage.
