MOSCOW, 24 April (BelTA) – Moscow hosted a meeting of the working group on military-economic cooperation headed by the chairman of the CSTO Interstate Commission for Military-Economic Cooperation (ICMEC) on 23-24 April, the CSTO press service told BelTA.
“The participants reviewed the progress in implementing the decisions of the 23rd ICMEC meeting, which took place in Astana, the Republic of Kazakhstan, in November 2025, and agreed on the list of issues to be submitted for consideration at the 24th ICMEC meeting in Minsk, the Republic of Belarus, on 18 June. The meeting will be held as part of the business program of the 3rd International Security Industry Exhibition ‘National Security. Belarus. 2026’, which is scheduled to take place in Minsk on June 17-19,” the press service said.
The meeting approved draft ICMEC decisions on the creation of an interstate system for cataloging supply items for the armed forces of CSTO member states, on ensuring mutual protection of intellectual property rights obtained and used in the course of military-economic cooperation within the CSTO format, as well as on a number of organizational matters.
