The Macedonian opposition party, SDSM, accuses the leaders of the Regional Center for Education and Vocational Training “Giorgji Naumov” in Manastir that during a school excursion to Monte Carlo, instead of taking care of the students, the principal and deputy principal gambled in a casino. The member of the Commission for Education and Science of the SDSM, Jovançe Manaskov, said that the minor students were waiting for them in the lobby, while they say that they have videos and photographs of the case.
“What do the information, photos and videos show? During a school excursion in Monte Carlo, the director of the Regional Center for Education and Vocational Training “Giorgji Naumov” from Manastir, Zhaneta Servini, and the deputy director, Lupço Zdravkovski, instead of staying with the students, played electronic slot machines in a casino. Meanwhile, the minor students, for whom they were responsible, were waiting for them in the lobby.”
This is an immoral case and therefore we demand responsibility from the first to the last, Manaskov said further. From SDSM, they call on the Minister of Education and Science, Vesna Janevska, to immediately carry out supervision and start a procedure for responsibility and the dismissal of all those involved, the Macedonian media write.
Until the moment of reporting, there has been no public reaction from director Zhaneta Servini, assistant director Lupço Zdravkovski or the Ministry of Education and Science regarding the claims. The case is expected to receive further developments, while it remains pending verification by the competent institutions.
