Connectingthe corporate volunteering program jointly promoted by Chaldea, Creand Crèdit Andorrà i SETAP365has closed the first year of operation with 260 hours of volunteering and 23 published activities. The initiative currently has 150 people registered on platform i 50 volunteers assets
The project was born in September 2025 to facilitate the workers of the three organizations to participate in social, environmental and community initiatives in Andorra through a shared platform.
During this first year, the volunteers have collaborated with Caritas in initiatives against loneliness and in the organization of clothes of the Rober-Shop. They have also participated in blood donation campaigns of the Andorran Red CrossChristmas workshops with elderly people and a collection that allowed gathering 1,000 kilos of food between the three companies.
Actions have been extended to the Solidarity charms ofUnicef Andorraat Cinema forum of the Penitentiary Center and at the residence’s Christmas dinner Sant Vicenç d’Enclar. In the environmental and sports field, it has participated in the collection of Muntanyes Netes waste and in the organization of the Ski World Cup of Comapedrosa Mountain Andorra.
“Behind the numbers there are people who have decided to dedicate part of their time to others”, emphasized the secretary of Connectand, Blanca Lapuentewho believes that the project allows the desire to help to be transformed into actions aimed at the well-being of society.
Coinciding with the first anniversary, Connectand held a meeting yesterday evening at Hive Fiveto Andorra la Vellawith volunteers, registered workers and collaborating entities. The day served to share experiences and collect proposals to adapt the annual volunteering plan.
Looking ahead to the second year, the president of Connectand, Ana Sanchez, explained that the aim is to expand both the community of volunteers and the network of collaborating entities. Among the novelties planned is the launch of a training plan and an activity of Connectand’s own.
