Dominican artist Trilla-G, whose real name is Gael Jno. Baptiste, is using his Still Trill Entertainment platform to spotlight a new generation of Bouyon performers with the launch of the “Up Next Cypher.” Volume One features G’z Up (Phillip Martin), Don Lash (Cadeem McPherson), Pa Pel (Loic Arius), Avatar Omish (Omari Dayl James), Ras B (Bayna Bellot), Pryhmex (Ajahlie Ettienne), and Trilla-G himself.
The project gives each artist an opportunity to step to the microphone, showcase their individuality, and introduce audiences to what they have to offer.
The cypher was produced by Shane Massicott of Kwib La Beats and mixed and mastered by ThaWizZarD, also known as Cecil Joseph Jr. Trilla-G said the concept had been on his mind for some time and became a reality on September 28, 2026, after several young artists who had previously approached him about collaborations or opportunities to showcase their work were brought together.
The accompanying video was filmed at The Lot Bar and Grill by Shane St. Claire of Sois Génial Multimedia and directed by Trilla-G and his manager and creative collaborator, Tridel “Wins” Edwin. Trilla-G said the response has exceeded his expectations, with viewers engaging
with the featured artists and discussing the future of Bouyon music.
Trilla-G plans to build on the initiative with additional volumes and introduce even more emerging performers to wider audiences. He is also encouraging the featured artists to capitalize on the exposure while pledging to continue supporting new talent through his platform.
The “Up Next Cypher” follows his successful New York Labor Day weekend performance and comes as he continues to expand his musical presence internationally.
Fans can next catch Trilla-G at the World Creole Music Festival on Saturday, October 24, while another new music release is also expected soon.
Viewer discretion is advised, as some lyrics in the cypher contain adult language and mature themes.
