National television channels broadcast Saturday evening at 21:00 pm, the regular meeting of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, with the media.
President Tebboune touched on in his conversation with press, To several political, economic and social files. Such as purchasing power, exchange reserves, digitization, and relations with neighboring countries and international powers.
On the economic front, President Tebboune ruled out a decline in the exchange reserve in the coming years. Stressing that everything the state does aims to strengthen its revenues outside of fuel.
On the other hand, the President of the Republic revealed that the value of compensation granted to residents affected by the fires that occurred in the country’s forests at the end of last August had reached 1,200 billion.
In his meeting with representatives of the national press, the President expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the digitization process in various sectors. He said it had reached a “very advanced stage.”
In his speech, President Tebboune returned to the technical stop made by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s private plane at Algiers Airport, before continuing its journey to New York, USA.
He also talked about the positive role that Algeria plays in supporting any international consensus regarding the oil market, as it is “a responsible state, and no recklessness will be recorded against it.”
The President of the Republic reiterated the country’s adherence to the friendly relationship it has with Russia, the United States, and China. Stressing that this is “not impossible” for Algeria.
