SAN MARINO – The FSM Association “Fibromyalgia in San Marino” expresses satisfaction with the publication, on 30 September in the Official Journal of the Italian Republic, of the update of the Essential Levels of Assistance (LEA), considered an important step for the recognition and protection of people living with fibromyalgia.
The San Marino association underlines how the provision represents a step forward on an institutional and social level and can open new perspectives for people affected by the pathology, for whom greater attention and protection have been requested for years.
Fibromyalgia in San Marino also extends its congratulations to CFU-Italia, recognizing the commitment carried out over the years on a social and institutional level.
“Today is a day of great joy for the entire Italian community of people with fibromyalgia. We would like to share this satisfaction and extend heartfelt thanks to all those who, with their work and commitment, have contributed to achieving this important result”, states the San Marino association.
Attention is now also turned to San Marino. The hope expressed by the association is that the recognition obtained in Italy can be followed by a similar path on Titan, with greater attention to health, adequate care paths and new forms of protection for people suffering from fibromyalgia.
Finally, the FSM Association confirms its intention to continue the awareness, information and protection activities dedicated to people living with the pathology in San Marino.
