Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan considers false the thesis that the third president of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, will not participate in the June 7 parliamentary elections.
“Armenpress”According to the report, Pashinyan said this in a briefing with journalists after the Government session.
“In the previous elections, Serzh Sargsyan participated with the “I have honor” alliance, and in this election he is participating with “Strong Armenia”. Firstly, he publicly expressed his support for that force, secondly, the entire staff you know participated in their rallies, and in today’s election process they want to achieve revenge and restore the 2006 coalition: ARF-PAP-RAP. There is no other story under this. Before 2018, it seemed that there were liberals in the political field, I don’t know, other views. So what was found out now, it turned out that, for example, Levon-Ter Petrosyan is a pure federalist. Moreover, the most unsuccessful and unsuccessful confederation. The rest was theater, it was a game,” Pashinyan elaborated.
He expressed his opinion that the parliamentary elections to be held on June 7 are an exceptional chance to leave the representatives of the former authorities out of the political field.
“I think that these elections are an exceptional chance for us to throw those former criminal oligarchs out of the political field. I see that chance, I see that chance from contacts with people,” said Nikol Pashinyan.
