Sant Julià de Lòria will celebrate again 23rd Medieval Village, which will take place from September 25 to 27 and will count on the participation of several cultural entities of the parish, with around fifty stalls spread over the streets and squares of the center. Under the slogan A world of fantasythe proposal will combine market, shows, music, workshops and family activities throughout the weekend.
The program will be distributed in different areas of the parish. The Mercadal dels Traginers, on Avinguda Verge de Canòlichwill recreate the atmosphere of the old markets, while the Plaça Major will host the Enchantment Corner; the square of Casa Comuna, theSpace of the Troubadours; the square of the Church, the Royal Toilet; the Gardens of the Reig Factory, the Bosc Encantat, and theReig Patrimònia parking lot, the Refuge dels Menairons. Plaça de la Germandat will concentrate a large part of the main shows.
Family-friendly programming will include witch calligraphy workshops, creating fantastic animals and lucky charms, medieval face painting, storytelling and attractions such as the Giant Turnstile and the Dragon. There will also be itinerant and puppet shows, including The Green Dragon, The Chdong-Dong, Gnome and James’s Journey.
The Lauredian cultural fabric will have a prominent presence during the three days.
theEsbart Laurèdia will offer on Saturday afternoon a show of medieval dances starring characters from the legends of Andorra, while on Sunday it will share the stage with the Gang of Giants to represent the legend of the White Lady of Auvinyà. The day will also include the planting and the parade of giants and giants through the streets of the Medieval Village.
The music will also feature local participation. The Coral Rocafort and the Petits Cantaires Lauredians will perform together on Sunday in Plaça de la Germandat, while at 5:30 p.m. there will be the concert of clover. theArt School of Sant Julià de Lòria, for its part, it will participate in the Enchanted Forest with a display of local crafts and its own productions, as well as organizing creative workshops.
The official opening will be Friday, September 25 at 6:30 p.m. in Plaça de la brotherhoodwith the show Women of Legend, from the company Líquid Dansa. During the weekend, the itinerant music of In Troba Veritas, with traditional and medieval repertoire, dances, proclamations and participatory songs, will complete the program.
