Nottingham’s 5-0 win over Sunderland makes Tottenham’s relegation situation worse

Nottingham won 5–0 after scoring four goals before half-time – three of them in the space of six minutes.

This means that Tottenham, with national team stars Lucas Bergvall and the injured Dejan Kulusevski, looks to have only one lifeline left in the relegation battle.

Tottenham are in the relegation zone heading into this weekend’s round, two points behind London side West Ham in the place above the line.

Tottenham are eight points behind Nottingham in 16th place, with five games left to play.

After an unfortunate own goal by Trai Hume, Chris Wood, Morgan Gibbs-White, Igor Jesus and Elliot Anderson then scored Nottingham’s goals.
