In this exhibition, more than 100 booths are dedicated to the products of Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, where Afghan carpets, saffron, precious and semi-precious stones, handicrafts, cotton, dry fruits and clothes are displayed.
The Minister of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan, Alhaj Nooruddin Azizi, emphasized on the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries, support of domestic production and increase of Afghanistan’s exports in this exhibition.
At the same time, the Deputy Governor of Balkh Noorulhadi Abudarris said that the participation of Afghan manufacturers and industrialists in such exhibitions is important for the introduction of domestic products and the development of economic cooperation between the two countries.
Chairman of Balkh Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Imamuddin Sanayzadeh said that development of trade and joint investment, construction of joint factories, transfer of technology and increase of exports are among the important areas of economic cooperation between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
He asked Uzbek investors to invest in the productive and industrial sectors of Afghanistan and said that providing land for joint investment can help in the development of the country’s industries and creation of job opportunities.
He added that the facilities for industrialists and traders between the two countries will have an effective role in reducing production costs, timely supply of raw materials and machinery, and the development of economic and commercial cooperation.
It is worth noting that this exhibition is designed to identify domestic products, find new markets for the products of both countries, and strengthen commercial and industrial cooperation.
