Sources wrote in a press release that the construction of this road has been completed by the Emergency Preparedness Department of Rozgan Province under the direction of Mullah Nooruddin Tarabi, Chief of the Disaster Preparedness Agency.
According to the information of the newspaper, this 25-kilometer road construction project was implemented from the budget of the Emergency Preparedness Agency and its purpose is to facilitate the movement of the people of the region, to strengthen the relations between the districts and to create access facilities for the people and aid agencies during emergency situations.
In the press release, it was added that the residents of the area expressed their satisfaction with the implementation of other preventive and disaster risk reduction projects by the Disaster Preparedness Agency and requested that other similar projects be implemented in order to meet the needs of the people and reduce the vulnerability of the area to disasters.
