In the press release of the Ministry of Interior, it is stated that the representative of this ministry said in this meeting: The world is currently facing many complex security challenges; It is facing such as wars, extremist groups, narcotics, organized crime, cyber threats, illegal immigration and other security problems that require joint cooperation of countries to prevent them.
He added that Afghanistan after many decades of war and instability; Now a new phase of security and stability has entered and the security institutions of the Islamic Emirate are trying to protect people’s lives, property and public order in the entire geography of the country.
The representative of the Ministry of Interior explained that Afghanistan does not want its territory to be used to create insecurity against any country and the security forces have the ability to prevent any kind of insecurity inside the country and suppress those who disrupt security.
In the speech, it was emphasized on regional security that the security of Afghanistan is inseparable from the security of the region and the relations between the countries based on mutual respect, non-interference, good neighborliness and joint security cooperation can provide the basis for the stability, trade and economic development of the region.
He said about the development of security cooperation with China that Afghanistan wants to strengthen relations with China based on the common security and economic interests of both countries and is ready to expand its cooperation against narcotics, organized crime, smuggling and other common security threats.
Also, the measures taken by Afghanistan in the fight against drugs were mentioned and it was emphasized that the fight to eliminate this phenomenon is the joint responsibility of the international community along with Afghanistan. For this purpose, the international community was requested to cooperate with Afghanistan in the fields of alternative cultivation, agriculture and economic opportunities. The representative of the Ministry of Interior emphasized on the strengthening of relations between security agencies, exchange of experience, professional training and responsible sharing of intelligence information between the countries regarding new security threats.
At the end of his speech, he said that the message of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is clear and that Afghanistan wants peace, security and economic development and supports regional and international security based on mutual respect, shared responsibility and common interests.
