[LEADERS COMMUNIQUE] 55th Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting

The Fifty-Fifth Pacific Islands Forum was held in Koror, Republic of Palau from 31 August – 3 September 2026 and was attended by the Heads of State and Government of Australia, Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, French Polynesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Republic of Naoero, New Zealand, Niue, the Republic of Palau, the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Kingdom of Tonga and Tuvalu. The Republic of Fiji, New Caledonia, Vanuatu and Samoa were represented at Ministerial level, and the Republic of Kiribati at Senior Official level. The Forum Leaders Retreat was held at Tab, Ngarchelong in Palau.
