Caribbean Airlines has introduced a new luxury airport taxi service in the United States, allowing passengers to book private ground transportation as part of their travel experience.
The airline announced on Wednesday that the service is being offered through independent provider Dignitary Travel Worldwide and is available for travel to and from select US airports and destinations.
Customers can arrange transportation either before departing for the airport or upon arrival at their destination. The service caters to both individuals and groups, with vehicles ranging from standard cars and SUVs to executive vehicles and motor coaches capable of accommodating up to 55 passengers, subject to availability.
The offering also includes several premium features, including flight monitoring for airport pickups, child and infant seating options, wheelchair-accessible transportation on request and 24-hour customer support.
Caribbean Airlines Acting Chief Executive Officer Varma Khillawan said the initiative is aimed at making travel more seamless beyond the flight itself.
“Our focus is on making travel easier for our customers, not only onboard our aircraft, but throughout their overall journey,” Khillawan said.
He added that the service gives passengers greater flexibility in planning transportation to and from the airport while enhancing the overall travel experience.
The taxi service can be accessed through a dedicated booking link on the Caribbean Airlines website. However, the airline said the transportation is operated independently by Dignitary Travel Worldwide.
As a result, all bookings, payments, amendments, cancellations, refunds and customer enquiries relating to the ground transport service will be handled directly by the provider under its own terms and conditions.
Dignitary Travel Worldwide specialises in private airport and destination transfers for both leisure and business travellers. Its fleet includes luxury and executive vehicles, limousines, SUVs and motor coaches, with services supported by real-time flight monitoring and round-the-clock customer assistance.
The new ground transportation option forms part of Caribbean Airlines’ broader strategy to expand customer services beyond air travel, providing passengers with added convenience throughout their journey.
The airline did not specify which US airports are included in the initial rollout but said the service is available to customers travelling to and from select destinations in the United States.
