As the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) kicks off its promotional campaign leading to the celebration of 50 years of the change over of carnival from the pre-Lenten season to June -July, deputy chairman of the (CDC), Colin Graham, has announced that change is coming.
Speaking on Friday, August 14, 2026, at a press conference in Manhattan, USA, hosted by the Consulate General of SVG, Graham said coming out of VincyMas 2026, while they are extremely encouraged by the tremendous turnout and support received, they are not satisfied to simply repeat it.
“We believe VincyMas 2027 can and must be bigger, stronger and better,” he told in-person attendees and those following the news conference virtually.
“This new Board of Directors understands that if VincyMas is going to grow, then the CDC itself must be prepared to adjust, evolve and sometimes do things differently.
