A cashier who is alleged to have stolen almost $70-thousand from a senior citizen over a span of several weeks in 2023 and 2024 pleaded not guilty when he appeared at the Calliaqua Magistrate’s Court on August 11, 2026.
The police said in release that they arrested Benjamin Enemchukwu on August 10,2026 and charged the 43-year-old cashier of Belair/Nigeria with five counts of theft.
It is alleged that between November 23, 2023, and November 29, 2023, Enemchuku stole EC$3,831.49 in cash.
He was also charged with stealing EC$11,750.00 in cash between December 24, 2023, and December 28, 2023.
