Traffic along Avenida Boyacá, known as Cota Mil, will have modifications for almost a month due to rehabilitation work that will be carried out at the Sebucán Distributor, in Caracas, the Ministry for Transportation.
The measure contemplates a partial closure of the road during the hours between 9:00 pm and 4:00 am, a period in which the interventions planned by the authorities will be carried out.
As detailed by the organization, the restriction will affect the incorporation ramp located at the end of Sucre Avenue, towards Altamira and El Marqués, and will remain in force from July 22 until August 15.
“There will be a partial closure at the end of Avenida Sucre, on the ramp joining Avenida Boyacá (Cota Mil), in the direction of Altamira and El Marqués, from July 22 to August 15,” he noted.
So far, the Ministry of Transportation has not specified what specific works will be carried out at the distributor or the scope of the announced rehabilitation. Nor did it inform whether these works are related to the evaluations carried out on the road infrastructure. after the double earthquake that occurred on June 24.
They recommend taking precautions during the closure
Given the temporary restriction, the authorities asked drivers to plan their routes and consider alternative routes during the hours in which the road intervention will be maintained.
“We invite drivers to take their precautions,” added the organization.
The execution of the works will be carried out by the Road Maintenance Company (Envial), an entity attached to the Ministry for Transportwhich will carry out the rehabilitation work in the affected section.
The organization assured that the actions will be aimed at improving circulation conditions and will be “aimed at guaranteeing the safe mobility of all,” it concluded.
