SOLIGORSK DISTRICT, 16 April (BelTA) – Soligorsk Poultry Factory plans to supply its products to China, Director of the enterprise Inna Tolkacheva told the media during Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin’s visit to the enterprise on 16 April, BelTA has learned.
“The countries we currently export our products to are the Russian Federation, Armenia, and Georgia. Uzbekistan has shown interest in our products. We see China as a future partner. Now we need to obtain the necessary permits. Our products are in demand; everything sells, nothing stays in the warehouses,” said Inna Tolkacheva.
According to her, 50% of the quail eggs produced are exported. “If we separate raw eggs from processed ones, then 60% of our raw eggs are sold domestically and 40% are exported. As for processed eggs, 40% are sold here and 60% are exported. I should note that we have been producing quail eggs since 2003. But demand for them has only really developed now, that is, 20 years later. And we have grown from a very small flock of 5,000 to 1 million,” the director explained.
