Prime Minister Edi Rama is in Theth where he is holding a conversation with applicants of the Mountain Package. The head of the government has made it clear that there is no annulment of this law, even though it is a request from the first day by the protesters, who say that with this initiative the sale of “Albania” is allowed.
Rama emphasized that the package aims to promote the economic development of mountainous areas and create investment opportunities for property heirs, not usurpers or oligarchs.
“The Mountain Package is not for usurpers, nor for businessmen who do not have an agreement with you, nor for oligarchs, except to set in motion the economy of the heirs of property in territories where land has not been divided according to 7501 because you and others in these territories have not accepted 7501 and have divided the land among themselves with the old boundaries and generally have no conflicts. But to address the other aspect that concerns territories where there is no possibility of development except tourism. This is the Mountain Package”, said Rama.
