Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a conversation on social networks, has chosen to comment again on the protest, which today enters its 52nd day.
Prime Minister Rama has deepened his attitude towards the protest, stating that the history of flamingos is the history of new Albania, which has made him learn and think more deeply.
He added that the Mountain Package will be a future success story, which he says people have been missing.
“The package of mountains is what people have been missing. Noise and slanderous accusations, divisions, only cloud the eyes of those who deal with them. The package of mountains will be a great success story for Albanians.
I am going beyond, where reality refutes all the hype about how the mountain economy can be developed. The reality shows that people who work and earn can become victims of aggressive and low attacks on their sweat, their sacrifices, their blood.
Knock on the doors of those economies and hostels, they are Albania to the Albania of the lazy who only want lek and leave nothing unsaid for all the others who earn the lek with work. They slander anyone, there are real working Albanians. Albania that will become a small Switzerland in those mountains.
What I have reflected on personally, from the mirror of the boulevard of flamingos is another topic and I will share it with everyone in the coming days, but that boulevard is very divided, for me at least. It is divided for the story. The story of the flamingos is the story of the new Albania, and not of the crows and crows that have taken it hostage and turned it into a symmetrical image with the expulsion of that opposition whose whereabouts are no longer known. It has nothing to do with the history of the future of Albania, it only has to do with the past, which is very disturbing to see the history.
The mountain pack is the story of the future. Those who shout for an Albania that does not want foreigners, are the worst of this country. Much respect to flamingos who have taught me a lot and made me think deeply. Only rejection and even, in addition to rejection, disgust for those who are the gathered crows and ravens of this country, who scream and swear, sing vulgarly and seem to be changing the world. They have no chance here in Albania”. said Rama.
