Around a fifth of Swiss people have already had arguments with their neighbors when it comes to the laundry room, as a study by Homegate found out. The most common point of contention is that the machine is not cleaned after use.
But that is by no means the only problem: strict washing schedules and people who skillfully ignore them often cause arguments in Swiss laundry rooms. Readers report that their (dripping wet) laundry is easy was thrown out of the machine onto the ground or that a suspicious number of underpants disappear from the clothesline. But it gets even worse: reader Eileen (34) already had to call the policebecause a neighbor didn’t want to put out her laundry anymore.
