The Ministry called on all baccalaureate degree holders to complete the initial registration process via the electronic platform designated for university guidance, through the link: https://orientation-esi.dz, Or by scanning the quick response code (QR Code) attached to the advertisement, making sure to review the baccalaureate holder’s guide and the conditions for admission to specializations before confirming their interests.
The data on university guidance included in the ministerial circular revealed acceptance rates in a number of the most in-demand majors and graduate schools, where Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity schools topped the list with the highest in-demand grades, followed by Autonomous Systems and Nanoscience schools, along with health sciences majors and graduate schools for professors.
The Ministry approved a minimum average of 14 out of 20 to participate in the enrollment ranking for Bachelor of Health Sciences majors with national registration at the University of Health Sciences in the capital, which includes the pharmaceutical and health products industry, pharmacy assistants, and dental health and hygiene.
Priority is given to those holding the experimental sciences and mathematics divisions, while a GPA of no less than 15 is required for those holding the mathematical technical division.
A grade of 16 was also set as a minimum for participation in the order of admission to the specializations of medicine, pharmacy, and dentistry with local registration, with priority also being given to holders of the experimental sciences and mathematics divisions, with the caveat that final acceptance rates may rise depending on the competition and the number of seats available.
Regarding the National Higher School of Veterinary Medicine, the Ministry required a GPA of no less than 14.5 for those holding the experimental sciences and mathematics divisions, and 15 for those holding the mathematical technical division.
National registration was opened in veterinary institutes at the universities of Constantine 1, Batna 1 and Tiaret, starting from grade 12, in addition to local registration in 12 other universities according to the specified conditions.
The Ministry allocated the highest enrollment rates to the National Higher Schools affiliated with the Scientific and Technological Pole in Sidi Abdullah, as it required a GPA of no less than 17 for admission to the National Higher School of Artificial Intelligence and the National Higher School of Cybersecurity.
Enrollment rates at the National Higher School of Mathematics start at 16 for the Mathematics Division, 16.5 for the Experimental Sciences Division, and 17 for the Mathematical Technology Division.
The Ministry explained that students accepted into the National Higher Schools affiliated with the Scientific and Technological Pole in Sidi Abdullah, and who hold a baccalaureate degree with distinction, are committed to serving for five years in public administrations, institutions, or national economic institutions if they are employed after graduation.
All students accepted into these schools will also receive their training in English, within the framework of promoting the use of this language in specialized university training. The Ministry has set the period from July 20 to September 20, 2026 for students to enroll in support lessons via the distance education platform.
The university offer for the year 2026 includes multiple tracks, including bachelor’s, combined master’s, and state engineer training, in addition to medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, veterinary medicine, and architecture, as well as higher schools for professors that grant training lasting between 5 and 6 years, depending on the targeted educational stage.
Training offers also include institutions affiliated with other ministerial sectors, in addition to accredited private institutions under the pedagogical guardianship of the Ministry of Higher Education.
