
Obaidullah Alkozi, the engineer of the Department’s Disaster Preparedness Command, told Bakhtar News Agency that this building will be built on two floors, along with the ground floor, at a cost of 12 million 800 thousand Afghanis from the budget of the Department.
According to him, this building will include 10 administrative rooms, toilets and other necessary facilities and its construction is scheduled to be completed within ten months.
He added that the Department of Disaster Preparedness did not have a special administrative building before and was conducting its activities in different rented places, but with the construction of this building, suitable administrative environment and necessary facilities will be provided for the employees.
At the ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the building, Deputy Governor of Laghman Hafiz Anjargal Abdullah welcomed the start of the project and said that efforts will be made to build buildings for those government agencies that are still operating in rented places.
He asked the contractor company to complete the building works in accordance with the terms of the contract on time, with the necessary quality and technical standards.
