According to Bakhtar News Agency, Mr. Mohajer Farahi called the construction of Mujahid General Museum an important achievement and said that this museum was built after the occupation and is of special importance for future generations to learn about the contemporary history and past events of the country.
He thanked the head of information and culture of Maidan Wardago, who has built this museum to protect the historical relics of the 20-year struggle of the country and the struggle against foreign occupation.
At the same time Maulvi Abdul Haq Hammad said that the struggle of Afghans against three great empires in one century is an important part of the country’s history.
He added that through this museum, future generations will get to know about the 20-year war, the sacrifices of the people and the Mujahideen, and the memories of the martyrs.
Maulvi Habibullah Mujahid, Head of Information and Culture of Maidan Wardago, said that the purpose of building this museum is to protect the historical artifacts and hand-made tools that were used during the struggle against the occupation.
According to him, the Mujahid General Museum was built with limited resources and has four sections, where ancient relics, military items and hand-made tools of Mujahideen, manuscripts and memorials related to martyrs are kept.
