
Dominica Electricity Services (DOMLEC) has announced that it is investigating an island-wide power outage that has left customers across the island without electricity.
In a brief statement on Facebook, issued Thursday afternoon, the utility company acknowledged the widespread loss of service and said its technical teams are working to determine the cause of the outage.
DOMLEC advised customers that the investigation is ongoing and said additional updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
The company has encouraged the public to continue monitoring its official communication channels for the latest developments.
