8.27 is estimated to be the entrance threshold for Higher Education this year. It will be registered in the schools of the 4th Scientific Field, i.e. Economics and Informatics, as provided exclusively for “K” by the mathematician-analyst Stratos Stratigakis.
For admission to the faculties of humanities, law and social sciences (1st field) the Minimum Admission Base is estimated to be 8.91, in health sciences schools (3rd field) at 9.83, and in the faculties of positive and technological sciences (2nd field) at 10.45.
“K” presents the predictions of Mr. Stratigakis for the Minimum Entry Basis in all departments/faculties of the electronic bulletin.
The assessment of the formation of the bases is based on the grading data announced by the Ministry of Education on Thursday 25/6. Today, the exams in the special courses were also completed. Their grades will be announced later.
Therefore, the evaluation of the formation of the bases does not include the schools that require the exam in a special course for admission to them, because we do not know the grades.
The grades published by the Ministry of Education are aggregated per subject. It makes sense, but this creates a small deviation in our estimates for the formation of the EBE. In other words, we know that in each course from 18 to 19 there is a number of candidates.
The Ministry of Education knows all the grades exactly, so the Ministry’s calculations are more accurate. Sometimes they differ from ours in the second decimal place.
What does not make sense is that the Ministry of Education does not publish the averages of the candidates. That is to say, that so many thousands of candidates have an average in all 4 courses between 18 and 19. The non-availability of this information creates significant problems for us in assessing the formation of the bases that will follow.
In the table you see our estimate of the maximum and minimum EBE per Scientific Field. If the section you are interested in is included in two or more fields, then the EBE is calculated from the lowest average of the fields to which the section belongs. If, for example, a section belongs to the 2nd and 4th fields, then the EBE for that section will be the EBE obtained by averaging the 4th field.
How you will use the table
Calculate your grade point average. You add the 4 grades and divide by 4. If your average is greater than or equal to the EBE of the department you are interested in, then you will be able to declare the department in your computer record, when the Ministry of Education application opens. Whether you will be admitted to the department depends on the points you collect.
