The future the Galaxy Pro phone could take over one of the most interesting features introduced on the Galaxy S26 Ultra: the privacy screen that limits the visibility of content when the device is viewed from the side.
The Galaxy S27 Pro is thought of as a fourth flagship in the company’s range, positioned between the classic models and the Ultra version. The strategy reminds of Applewhich separates the premium range into two Pro models and keeps other variants more accessible to the general public.

According to information appearing in China, the phone would receive a screen of approximately 6.47 inches. The Privacy Display feature would not be limited to a simple permanent filter, but would benefit from the same controls software available on the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
The user could activate the protection only when needed, for example on public transport, on a plane or in a coffee shop. The screen would become more difficult to read for people on the side, without the owner being obliged to apply a special foil over the display.
Privacy Display appears to be just one of the premium features in store for the new model. The Galaxy S27 Pro could receive the same 5,000 mAh battery used on the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which would make the phone one of the most interesting options for users who want great autonomy without the dimensions and price of an Ultra.
And the photo system could be very close to that of the top model. If the information is confirmed, the differences between the S27 Pro and the S27 Ultra would mainly come down to size, the presence of the stylus and a few functions reserved for the more expensive variant.
The S Pen would be missing from the Galaxy S27 Pro, but this decision should not affect the commercial success too much. The stylus is used by a relatively small audience, while autonomy, cameras and screen are much more important criteria for most buyers.
The price could become the main advantage of the Pro model. If Samsung keeps the most useful features of the Ultra version and reduces only the niche functions, the Galaxy S27 Pro could end up being more popular than the top of the range.
