Police arrested the main suspect in the 2024 killing of Nke St Ville during an early morning operation in Vieux Fort on Wednesday.
The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force said officers from the Gangs, Narcotics and Firearms Unit (South) and the Tactical Response Unit (South) conducted an operation at St Paul’s Lane at around 4:00 a.m. on April 22, 2026.
During the operation, officers executed a search warrant at the home of Carlton Charles.
It was during that search that Dan Decuoine Phillip was apprehended. Phillip is the main suspect in the murder of St Ville, who was killed in Gros Islet on September 8, 2024.

Police said they had already issued a warrant for Phillip’s arrest, but he had been evading capture.
Two other people were also taken into custody during the operation and are expected to be charged with harbouring a wanted fugitive.
