In a decision with high political impact for the United States governmentthe Senate of that country voted in favor of stop war actions in Iran. The statement represents a direct political setback for the American President Donald Trump.
This determination ratifies the position that the House of Representatives had approved at the beginning of June against this conflict in the middle eastwhich began on last February 28.
The resolution orders Trump end the war or request authorization to continue it. However, since it does not have the character of law, its value is more symbolic than real, although it marks the point of greatest unpopularity of a conflict that has lasted almost four months.
