An old school soccer tournament for those who grew up loving the game
Before social media, before fantasy leagues and before expensive football boots, there was only one ball, one group and the question heard in every neighborhood “Who is playing today?». This is exactly the feeling it brings back OLD SCHOOL TOURNAMENT – ROAD TO WORLD CUP 2026.
Her Sunday, June 28, 2026, the YS Multi Stadium in Agios Athanasios Limassol hosts an old school miniature of the World Cup, full of tension, passion, memories and authentic football action.
Inspired by the FIFA World Cup 2026, the tournament brings together friends, teammates and football fans of all ages, in an event that combines the atmosphere of the neighborhood with the organization of a major sporting celebration.
Overall 48 groups they will be divided into 12 groupsrepresenting countries from all over the world, vying for distinction through competition 5X5 Futsalin a day full of emotions.
The matches start at 9:00 in the morning, with a break between 13:00 – 15:00. The tournament is expected to end at 17:00.
Beyond the action on the field, the OLD SCHOOL TOURNAMENT promises a complete experience for participants and spectators, with DJ music throughout the day, a specially designed food and beverage area, competitions and surprises for the audience, as well as rich photographic and video material that will capture the best moments of the event. The program will conclude with the awarding of cups and prizes to the day’s main protagonists.
The prizes
1st Place: €1,500
2nd Place: Lunch at the “To Steki” tavern, in Limassol.
