This Thursday, June 25th, the Portuguese football team had all the players in training, in preparation for the game against Colombia, in the third round of Group K of the 2026 World Cup, on the day the storm interrupted the work session.
In the 15 minutes open to the media at the Gardens North County District, in Palm Beach, Portugal’s place of work in the United States, all players were available to coach Roberto Martínez.
The group of starters in the last match, plus Francisco Conceição, stretched on the pitch, while the remaining members of the working group, including João Cancelo, who left at half-time, warmed up and worked with the ball.
The goalkeepers were not on the pitch, starting the work session in the gym.
