In Uzbekistan, the process of free circulation of imported goods is being digitized. In accordance with the government’s decision, the practice of obtaining electronic confirmation of authorized bodies based on some permits issued abroad and documents confirming compliance will now be introduced.
Regulation of the Government No. 324 dated June 24, 2026 “On the introduction of the practice of obtaining electronic confirmation of authorized bodies based on documents confirming their compliance with certain authorizations issued outside the Republic of Uzbekistan” confirmed.
This regulation determines the procedure for obtaining electronic confirmation of authorized bodies based on certain permits issued outside Uzbekistan and documents confirming compliance.
According to it, the importer submits an application to the customs body, attaching the relevant permit and compliance documents, to receive the electronic confirmation of the authorized body.
In the application, the transit declaration number, the name of the goods and the TIF TN code, the manufacturer’s name, the country of manufacture of the goods, the requisites of the permit and documents confirming compliance, as well as other documents provided for by the law, must be indicated.
Customs authorities carry out customs clearance of products on the basis of electronic decisions sent by competent authorities through the information system.
The new procedure is expected to simplify import processes, digitize the exchange of documents, and speed up foreign trade operations.
