
“Fact info:“. The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan clarified the information regarding the goods presented as exports from Armenia to Azerbaijan.
The committee told Minval Politika that in March of this year, roses worth $960 were imported from the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The Azerbaijani department clarifies that the cargo transit passed through the territory of Armenia. According to section 3.3 of the “Rules for the publication of customs statistics of foreign trade”, the country through whose territory the goods are transited is considered a partner country during importation.
Therefore, these roses were registered in the statistics as imported from Armenia, the Customs Committee of Azerbaijan noted.
