The Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service warns that very high temperatures will be already on Friday in Tauragė, Marijampolė and Alytus counties.
The service warns that very high temperatures, which will cause danger, are forecast from 06/26/2026 12:00 to 06/26/2026 18:00.
The highest temperature will reach 30 degrees in places.
No such warnings have been issued on Saturday. The dangerous heat is expected to peak Sunday through Monday. It will heat up to 30-35 degrees. On Tuesday, it will rain in many areas, but the heat will not be in a hurry to retreat, fresher weather will come easily.
It is recommended to limit the duration of being in the heat, to drink a lot of water. Also, do not leave children and animals in the car with the windows closed.
