Until the telephone connections are fully restored, citizens must continue to apply in person or contact the municipality via the temporary mobile numbers, says Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq.
Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq announces that the municipality’s telephone connections will gradually become available again during this week.
The municipality emphasizes, however, that citizens should continue to use personal attendance or the temporary ones mobile numbersuntil the telephone systems function normally.
At the same time, Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq states that the work to fully resolve the IT breakdown is expected to continue for several more weeks.
The municipality’s communication systems and technical equipment were hit by an extensive breakdown at the end of May.
