According to the Militarnyi portal, the occupation authorities in Crimea explained the power outages as “technological malfunctions in the electrical networks.” No current according to published information Yevpatoriya, Saky, Krasnoperekopsk, Dzhankoy and also Krasnoperekopsky, Saksky, Dzhankoy and Krasnogvardei districts remained. According to the UNIAN agency, that is roughly half of the peninsula. Krymenergo has announced that emergency and restoration work is underway and electricity supplies should be restored within 24 hours.

On the night of June 23, the Crimean peninsula faced a drone attack, after which fires were reported at energy and fuel infrastructure facilities. NASA FIRMS satellites also recorded new outbreaks of fires in the Russian port of Kavkaz in the Temriuk district of the Krasnodar region. At the same time, Krymskij veter reported on thermal anomalies at the substation Nasosna-2 with a voltage level of 220/110/35/10 kV north of the village of Mykolayivka in the Soviet district of occupied Crimea.

Later, the Supernova+ telegram channel reported that the large electrical substation Nasosnaya-2 in Sovietsk district in the east of the peninsula had been hit.

According to Militarnya, another fire was reported at the entrance to Kerch, where, according to the source, Russian S-300 or S-400 air defense systems are expected to be deployed. A possible fire was also reported near the village of Bagerove, where the positions of these systems were observed in the past.

Traffic on the Kerč bridge was blocked around 7:00 a.m. Fires also broke out on Arabatská Kos, where Russian troops are stationed, and in Simferopol. Airports in Krasnodar and Sochi had to be closed for several hours.

The attacks come at a time of worsening fuel situation on the peninsula. The occupation administration in Sevastopol introduced a temporary ban on the sale of fuel, restricted the operation of shops and catering establishments and canceled mass events. Fuel is to be supplied only to rescue service vehicles and components ensuring critical infrastructure and city operations. The timetables of public transport are also to be adjusted, the ferry service is to stop and only passenger ships are to continue.

This week, an oil warehouse in the port of Kerch, which could not be extinguished after the attack on June 21, was hit for the second time, as well as an oil terminal in the port of Kavkaz in Kuban. A large fire also broke out in the thermal power plant in the Aršincev district of Kerch, while black smoke stretched almost 50 kilometers

Militarnyi reminds that on the night of June 20-21, Ukrainian defense forces, according to the source, hit objects used by Russian forces in the port of Kerch and in the port of Kavkaz in the Krasnodar region. The attacks then caused large fires, including fires in fuel storage areas.
