Democratic primary voters in New York City delivered a clean sweep to Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D) and the democratic socialist movement on Tuesday, electing a slate of leftist House candidates who received the mayor’s backing over two sitting members of Congress and the handpicked successor of a retiring incumbent.
