A pensioner from Vlora has become part of the protest in Tirana, saying that he traveled several times to the capital to express his dissatisfaction with the government.
The elderly man stated that, despite his age and difficulties, he found the opportunity to join the protests, while admitting that in the past he voted for Prime Minister Edi Rama.
“I’m not a politician and I don’t know either Edi Rama or Sali Berisha, but when there are so many accusations and problems, justice must intervene,” he said.
The pensioner demanded that SPAK investigate the main political figures in the country, stressing that citizens expect answers to their concerns.
He said that the trust given through the vote has been damaged and that according to him the government is no longer responding to the demands of the citizens.
“Rama says that 800,000 Albanians voted for him. I voted for him, but I broke the contract with him, because he is no longer responding to us as a people,” declared the protester from Vlora.
