
The head of information and culture of the said province, Mullah Abdul Ghafar Haqnama, told Bakhtar News Agency that these artifacts are about 300 years old and include a pot, a lamp, a candlestick, a firecracker, two pieces of a kafgir handle, and other such tools.
According to him, some youths of the area accidentally found the artefacts when they were hunting myna birds, then they handed them over to the village officials and from there they were handed over to the Department of Information and Culture by the Sancharak district officials.
He added that historical monuments form an important part of the cultural and historical identity of the country and its preservation is the joint responsibility of all.
