Kolkata: Trinamool’s ‘Resolution Book’ is now in the hands of CID in the case of forgery of MLAs’ signatures. Whether that ‘resolution book’ is genuine or not, will be verified. The signatures of the MLAs will be seen with the ‘Resolution Book’. CID officials visited the house of Kalighat Panthi Trinamool MLA Shovandev Chattopadhyay today. The ‘Resolution Book’ was being searched for in the signature forgery case from the beginning. A team of CID reached Shovandev’s house around 11 am on Saturday. According to the sources of the State Intelligence Agency, a copy of the ‘Resolution Book’ was handed over to the State Intelligence. He said, that is the original ‘Resolution Book’. (TMC News)
According to the CID, it will be checked whether it is the copy of the original ‘Resolution Book’ or not. The matter is currently under investigation. CID interrogated Abhishek Banerjee and Kunal Ghosh in search of that ‘Resolution Book’. State detectives reached out to several legislators. Once the ‘Resolution Book’ is in hand, the signatures of the three people who went to the court and signed it can be matched. Allegations that the signatures have been forged, it is believed that everything will become clear once the signatures are matched.
The ‘Resolution Book’ has become very important in signature forgery cases. Shobhandev, who handed over the transcript to the state intelligence, was offered the Leader of the Opposition by the Kalighat Trinamool. A letter to that effect was also sent to the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, which was signed by the party’s general secretary Abhishek. But Ritabrata Banerjee, Sandeepan Sahara said that the signatures on the resolution book have been forged. They alleged that the signatures of those who did not sign the proposal to make Sobwandev Speaker were forged.

The uproar started as soon as the issue came up. And from there Trinamool started to become Khan Khan. Ritabrata and 60 rebel MLAs wrote to the Speaker claiming to be ‘real’ Trinamool. The proposal to make Ritabrata, not Shovandev, the leader of the opposition was accepted. On the other hand, 20 MPs in Delhi also declared mutiny. Said to support BJP and NDA by joining NCPI. Abhishek has been questioned repeatedly in this case. Kunal was also interrogated face to face. If the ‘Resolution Book’ given by Shovandev is genuine, many questions will be answered.
