In a press release, the said ministry stated that the construction of four half-completed six-story dormitory buildings worth 90 million Afghanis in Paktia, Nangarhar and Paktika universities, as well as the remaining works of Abdullah bin Abbas (Kunar) religious university building, was approved by His Highness Amir al-Mu’minin, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the works have actually started.
According to the information of the newspaper, the financial cost of these projects is paid from the budget of the Ministry of Higher Education and it is planned to be completed by the end of 1405 AH.
The sources added that after the completion of these dormitories, a suitable place will be provided for the living and education of about 5 thousand students and waste people.
