The directors of MedicalNET held the second edition of their congress “Medicine of Prevention and Innovation”, a meeting that brings together prominent professionals and specialists from various areas of medicine.
The activity that took place in the hotel Embassy Suites by Hilton Santo Domingo is part of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the institution that for two decades has promoted the growth of private medicine, continuing medical education and innovation in health services in the Dominican Republic.
Prior to the start of the activity, the institution’s directors highlighted the importance of promoting academic spaces that integrate diverse andmedical specialties and promote a broader and collaborative vision of health care.
“The MedicalNET Congress was born with the vision of connecting medicine with innovation, prevention and the exchange of knowledge between different medical areas,” he expressed. Fernando Contreras, president of the entity.

The program includes keynote conferences, multidisciplinary panels and spaces for academic exchange on topics such as preventive medicine, artificial intelligence applied to health, medical innovationprecision oncology, nutrition and metabolic medicine, wellness, modern urology and patient experience.
The previous edition of the congress brought together more than 500 doctors and health professionals, consolidating itself as one of the private medical meetings with the greatest growth and projection in the country.
