Russia will launch “massive coordinated attacks on a regular basis” against Ukraine, the Russian foreign minister said today. Sergey Lavrov.
This statement of the head of Russian diplomacy comes as earlier the Ukrainians carried out the largest drone attack in Moscow in at least two years.
The drone was part of a wider Ukrainian offensive across much of Russian territory, with the Russian Defense Ministry saying that 555 drones were intercepted.
Among the targets hit was one oil refinery in Moscow. The attack on that particular target was the second in just a few days and resulted in the shutdown of operations.
After the attack, flames and thick black clouds of smoke towered over the southeastern Kapotnia region, where the refinery is located.
