Secretary of Community Development and Social Protection Ian Pollard has been hospitalised. In a media release today, the Office of the Chief Secretary (OCS) said Pollard has been warded at the St Clair Medical Centre for the past week.
Chief Secretary Farley Augustine, on behalf of the Tobago House of Assembly, extended best wishes to Pollard for a full and speedy recovery.
He assured the work of the division continues under his leadership alongside the division’s assistant secretary, Ackel Franklyn.
He asked the public to respect Pollard and his family’s right to privacy.
